Kashgar to Osh (3000 years old, southern capital of Kyrgyzstan)
The Silk route from Tashgar to Osh is utterly remarkable. A dry section on the Chinese side,with jagged dry terracotta peaks, then the most amazing drive down the moister side to Kyrgyzstan. Lots of nomads living in Yurts. Finally coming to the fertile Forgana Valley and the city of Osh.
